Jessica Leigh Di Bianca
Jessica Di Bianca, Counsel with the firm, is an experienced litigator whose practice is devoted to general civil litigation. She represents clients in a wide array of personal injury matters, including, but not limited to, automobile accidents, complex traffic injury cases, bicycle accidents, intersection accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, pedestrian accidents and hit and run cases. Ms. Di Bianca also represents individuals in premises liability actions, including slip and fall and trip and fall cases. She also has significant experience litigating and resolving "Title 59" cases against public entities, where individuals are subject to a higher burden of proof in order to prevail in a lawsuit.
Ms. Di Bianca also represents clients in employment discrimination matters, including, cases where an individual has been discriminated against because of his or her race, national origin, age, sex, or other protected characteristics. Her practice also includes representing clients who have been wrongfully terminated for reporting illegal or unethical workplace activities, commonly referred to as "whistleblower" cases, as well as clients who have been subject to sexual harassment and a hostile work environment in the workplace. Many of these cases involve defendants that are highly recognized, multi-national, publicly traded organizations.
Prior to joining forces with the Law Offices Rosemarie Arnold, Ms. Di Bianca was a Partner at an Essex County personal injury firm located in Livingston, New Jersey. Her practice areas included personal injury, employment discrimination and worker's compensation. There, she managed an extensive caseload from inception to completion, with a strong focus on getting the best results for her clients, using tactful negotiation skills, persistent and effective communications with opposing counsel and insurance companies, as well as aggressive litigation tactics.
She was also an Associate with Lum, Drasco and Positan, LLC, in Roseland, New Jersey, for over 6 years, where she devoted her practice, primarily, to the field of general civil litigation. Her practice areas included personal injury, commercial litigation and matrimonial law.
In the summer of 2005, Ms. Di Bianca held a judicial clerkship under the tutelage of the Honorable William A. Daniel, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part, Union County.
While practicing in Essex County, Ms. Di Bianca served on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the Essex County Bar Association, whereupon, she was elected and served as both Chair and Trustee of the Section. In 2010, Ms. Di Bianca received the Essex County Bar Association's "Young Lawyers' Achievement Award," for outstanding work in the community. Ms. Di Bianca has also been recognized as a Rising Star in the field of General Litigation in New Jersey Superlawyers.
Ms. Di Bianca obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Boston University in May of 2002, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She obtained her law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts in May of 2005. During law school, Ms. Di Bianca participated as an advocate for the Juvenile Justice Clinic and also interned for the Hale and Dorr Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School, which provided pro bono legal services to indigent clients in the neighboring communities.
While zealously advocating for her clients is Ms. Di Bianca's primary focus and concern, establishing and maintaining an excellent rapport with her adversaries and the Court has lent itself to outcomes most beneficial to her clients' interests. The greatest compliment she receives is obtaining clients through referrals, which she has received from both current and former clients, as well as her adversaries.
Ms. Di Bianca is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, including, the United States District Court for the State of New Jersey, and the State of New York.
