Melissa A. Peace
Ms. Peace graduated, with honors, from The College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY, in 2007, where she earned her BA in Communications. Following a career as a print journalist, she pursued her law degree from Pace Law School, where she graduated cum laude in 2012 and participated in the Immigration Law Moot Court Competition at New York University School of Law. Licensed in both New York and New Jersey, Melissa worked for several years as an associate at a law firm in Rockland County where she represented victims of medical and dental malpractice, nursing home abuse, and advocated on behalf of workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability claimants. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Rosemarie Arnold, Ms. Peace worked as an associate defending matters involving vertical transportation, professional liability, employment-related accidents and premises liability, and had the opportunity to draft several appeals before the First and Second Departments of the New York State Appellate Division.
Originally from Toms River, Ms. Peace is excited to bring her law practice back to New Jersey, where she continually strives to treat each of her clients with the respect and professionalism that they deserve. With the understanding that the legal process can be intimidating and confusing to most people, Ms. Peace will always make herself available to answer any questions in order to help her clients feel comfortable and obtain for them the best result possible.
