Arlene M. Parra is an associate attorney at Law Offices Rosemarie Arnold representing injured plaintiffs in the areas of motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, and personal injury litigation.

Ms. Parra graduated with Honors from Cliffside Park High School in 2010 and moved onto to become a Dean’s List student at the Pennsylvania State University, where she received a B.A. degree in Public Relations with double minors in Sociology and International Studies in 2014. Ms. Parra attended New York Law School (NYLS) on an academic scholarship and graduated Cum Laude with her Juris Doctorate in 2018.

Aside from externships and extracurricular associations, some of her most rewarding legal experiences involved working with underprivileged individuals in desperate need of legal assistance. Ms. Parra worked with the Street Law Clinic at NYLS where she provided high school students from underserved communities like the Bronx, NY with high-quality educational courses focused on creating a pathway to careers in the legal profession. Ms. Parra was also actively involved in the Post-Conviction Innocence Clinic at NYLS where she and her team represented a small number of clients who were failed by the criminal justice system which resulted in convictions for serious crimes in New York State despite presenting a colorable claim of actual innocence which cannot be proven through DNA evidence alone. Ms. Parra and her team engaged in factual investigations geared towards filing post-conviction motions by tracking down court records and transcripts, conducting prison interviews, conferring with prior counsel, locating witnesses, and updating evidentiary research.

Ms. Parra’s prior experience includes a clerking at a boutique firm in the heart of New York City where she worked on real estate, intellectual property and contract law matters. Ms. Parra also gained valuable insight to the other side of the playing field while clerking for a defense firm, located in northern New Jersey, which engaged in the practice of civil litigation matters generally.

Ms. Parra’s passion has always been to fight for those who have suffered harm and need the help most, which she has been tenaciously doing since representing injured accident victims as an associate attorney at Law Offices Rosemarie Arnold.
On a more personal note, Ms. Parra grew up in Cliffside Park, New Jersey, and is a lifelong resident of Bergen County. Ms. Parra is fluent in Spanish and a proud first generation professional.

Ms. Parra is currently admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey, and is pending admission in New York as well.
