Melissa Peace Tomaino is an attorney at the Law Offices of Rosemarie Arnold and is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Melissa exclusively represents injured clients in a wide variety of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, medical malpractice, dental malpractice and harassment/discrimination.
Melissa graduated magna cum laude from The College of Mount Saint Vincent in 2007, where she attended via Erasmus Scholarship, majoring in Communications, with a focus on journalism. After an internship at WABC-TV and a career as a newspaper reporter, Melissa attended and graduated cum laude from Pace University School of Law in 2012. During her time in law school, Melissa was honored to successfully represent asylum seekers and clients in a wide variety of immigration matters through Pace's Immigration Law Clinic. Another highlight of her pro bono work during law school was the opportunity to represent women seeking temporary restraining orders due to domestic abuse in both Westchester and Yonkers counties.
Since law school, Melissa has represented clients in all areas of personal injury, including workers' compensation, social security disability applications, motor vehicle accidents, nursing home negligence and malpractice. She also has experience in complex litigations involving construction defects, vertical transportation accidents, falls from heights, work site accidents and employment discrimination.
Melissa resides at the Jersey Shore with her husband and two dogs, both of whom always keep us on our toes. In her free time, she loves to dig into a new book and podcast or host her friends and family for an impromptu game night or dinner.
Most of all, Melissa is thrilled to be representing clients of The Law Offices of Rosemarie Arnold and strives to ensure each client feels comfortable, understood, seen and heard.
